CHASE JOHNSON is a doctoral researcher at the University of Warwick, specializing in democratic oversight of national security agencies. He previously studied international relations at Boise State University as a Frank Church Scholar of Public Affairs and went on to earn a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University. He has also served as a policy analyst with the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Defense.
