Chinese Foreign Minister’s unusual visit to the USA, as two countries seeks to repair the ties.

As part of his 3 days visit to Washington, USA the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi first met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken then in his second meeting he held talks with US President Joe Biden in the White House.
Wang Yi highlighted that the “two sides had in-depth, constructive and substantive strategic communication on many issues of common concern, and jointly sent a positive signal of stabilizing and improving China-US relations”.
The Foreign Minister Wang’s visit to USA took place three weeks ahead of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit which will take place in San Francisco, USA. Initial diplomacy started by Wang Yi by paying a visit to USA, is predicted to be evolve into the personto-person meeting of US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping in the summit in mid-November to further address the Sino-American relations.
